Day 01: Landing at Leh Airport on 3,505 Meters / 11,567 Feet High Altitude
Through this wonderful trip, today you will land on roof of the Himalayas at Leh Airport. From here our executive will take you to your pre-booked hotel in Leh.
After arrival at your hotel and check in process, go to your room and take some rest.
In the afternoon have lunch and visit these monument of Ladakh as Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace.
You can also spend some time by walking in local bazaar’s of Leh city.
Later, return to hotel and after dinner go to sleep.
Day 02: Sham Valley Tour (Round Trip from Leh)
After breakfast, let’s start to Sham valley also known as “Apricot Valley” on the way visit to Gurdwara Patthar Sahib and Magnetic Hill.
If you are nature lover and wants to explore beauty of the valley, then you must trek to Likir, Suspool and Hemis Shukpachan. These villages of Suspool and Hemis Shukpachan are right in the center of the valley.
After enjoying this wonderful trip of Sham valley, return to hotel for overnight stay in Leh.
Day 03: Leh – Khardungla Pass – Nubra Valley (Driving Distance 120 Km – Travelling Time 4/5 Hours)
Today, after morning meal, we will start a trip of Nubra valley, so let’s drive by 120 km and on the way we will cross Khardungla pass.
Upon arrival, enjoy camel ride from Deskit to Hundur village, also exploring Diskit/Deskit village of Nubra Valley.
Then we will go to our camp for night halt in Nubra valley.
Day 04: Diskit Monastery Visit – Leh
Day four, we have reserved for visit to Diskit or Deskit monastery.
So, finish your breakfast and move for visit to this marvelous Diskit Gompa, which is 14th century oldest and largest monastery in Nubra Valley. This Gompa is belongs to Gelugpa sect of Tibetan Buddhism and founded by Changzem Tserab Zangpo, a disciple of Tsong Khapa, founder of Gelugpa.
After visiting this 515 years old monastery, now we will go back to Leh city and our night stay will be in Leh hotel.
Day 05: Round Trip Leh to Pangong Lake (155 Km)
This morning, after early breakfast, we will start for picturesque Pangong Lake through high Changla pass (5,486 mtrs).
During the winter, lake freezes completely, despite being saline water. On May 5-6, 2020, there was a face-off between about 250 Indian and Chinese troops near Pangong Tso Lake. Four Indian and seven Chinese soldiers were injured (Not sure).
Spend your own time with nature and on shore of this beautiful lake and enjoy this spectacular view of mountain along with lake.
Now it’s time to drive back to Leh for overnight stay in Leh.
Day 06: Depart Leh Airport
Hope you enjoy this 5 days in Ladakh valley, now we will transfer you to Leh Airport to your onward destination.
