We have set up this holiday package covering Leh, Sham Valley, Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass, Tur Tuk Village (Last village of India, near Line of Control), Pangong Lake and Thiksey Monastery.
In this largest valley of cold desert, offer spectacular view of Himalaya Mountains, which is recorded and famous for highest road and post office etc.
So let’s start this to experience this journey and take part of it by taking a closer look at nature.
Day 01: Arrive at Leh Airport at 3505 Meters Height
After the reaching at Leh Airport, meet with your assistance, who transfer you to your pre-booked hotel.
Check in to hotel, after refresh and some rest, free for your own activities.
In the evening go for nature walk around your hotel and night halt at Leh.
Day 02: Sham Valley Sightseeing Trip
Have morning breakfast and start full day trip in Sham valley. Drive to valley by en route visiting Magnetic Hill, Patthar Sahib Gurdwara, Spituk Monastery and Army war memorial.
Return back to Leh in the evening and free for shopping or for your own time.
After dinner night stay at Leh hotel.
Day 03: Leh – Khardungla Pass 18380 Feet – Nubra Valley & Hundur – Drive 130 Km 4/5 Hours
After breakfast go to Nubra valley by taking small halt at Khardungla pass. Afternoon, reached in the Nubra valley and have lunch.
Post lunch, start to visit Deskit monastery, Hundur village and enjoy camel safari in the Sand Dunes between Diskit and Hundur village.
Now come back and have dinner then take rest with night stay at camp in Nubra valley.
Day 04:-Nubra – Turtuk – Nubra 90 km (Last Village of India)
On the day 4, we will see Turtuk village and will get an experience by watching this last village of India near Line of control at Indo-Pakistan Border. Turtuk is one of the gateways to the Siachen Glacier and known for its varieties of fruits especially apricots.
Turtuk was opened to tourists in 2010, this village offers views of the Shyok Valley. There are a few Gompa’s, located on the plateau above the Shyok River and there is an old royal house to see in the village. Turtuk is one of the few places in India where one can witness Balti (Baltistan) culture and one can find a few home stays and guest houses in the village. It is the last major village where tourist activity is allowed before the Line of Control.
Later return back to Nubra valley for overnight in camp.
Day 05: Nubra Valley – On the way Changla Pass – Pangong Lake (180 Km) 6/8 Hours
Early Morning, get ready with your high quality cameras and drone etc. which will help you to capture these lifetime achievement of your life.
We will leave from Nubra Valley and move to Pangong Lake through Changla pass which is located at 5,360 Meters or 17,688 feet above from sea level via Wari La/Shyok route.
You must take a short break at Deskit monastery, where you can capture some spectacular view of tallest Maitri Buddha statue as well as you can also visit Diskit monastery.
Upon arrival at Changla Pass on the way, head down to Changla Baba temple at Changla Pass. Then again move ahead to Pangong, on the way you can enjoy nature with have tea/coffee and Maggie on the road side Dhabas.
So, finally reach at Pangong Lake, you must pre book your accommodation in camp, if you want to stay lake side.
Enjoy the scenic beauty of this crystal clean water lake and you have an opportunity to capture beautiful snaps for yourself.
Later night stay with environment and the unforgettable scenery.
Day 06: Pangong Lake – Leh (150 Km 5 Hours Journey)
Morning after having breakfast return back to Leh, on the way back we will visit twelve storied Thiksey monastery at a height of 3,600 meter.
Then continue drive back to Leh, upon arrival check in to hotel and free for your activities or shopping etc.
Overnight stay at Leh hotel.
Day 07: Depart From Leh
After this Mesmerizing tour of Ladakh depart to home. After breakfast get transfer to Leh
Airport to board the flight for onward destination.
