Let’s start to explore Lakes of Ladakh through our Lakes of Ladakh tour for 7 nights and 8 days. During this journey you will have a special experience, in which we will see the beautiful lakes of Ladakh.
So let’s get out with “White Heaven Holidays” to get this experience and feel the beauty of nature….
Day 01: Arrival at Leh Airport
Upon your arrival at Leh in the morning, pick up and drop off to hotel.
Check in to hotel and then free for independent activities.
Post lunch you can go for outing in Leh and can visit Shanti Stupa and Leh palace.
Later explore famous shopping place of Leh at main market and then return to hotel for night halt.
Day 02: Round Trip from Leh to Sham Valley
So now we start the journey full of enthusiasm and will start our first day from Sham Valley. During the journey begin by bowing the head on the Patthar Sahib Gurdwara. After that proceed towards the Magnetic Hills, here you can see a hardened car’s rolling due to gravitational force.
Also visit the Spituk Monastery / Spituk Gompa or Pethup Gompa, which is 8 km from Leh. The site of Spituk was blessed by the Arhat Nyimagung. Finally, we will visit Hall of Fame, it is an army museum run by the Indian army. It was created by the Indian army in memory of our Indian martyrs during the Kargil war between India and Pakistan in 1995.
So let’s finish this never-ending journey and return to our hotel which is in Leh, where we will rest overnight.
Day 03: Leh –Khardungla Pass – Nubra Valley (120 Km - 4/5 Hours)
Today we begin this beautiful day with the beautiful Nubra Valley. This is an important stop of this journey, which you will remember for a lifetime. Moving slowly, stop at Khardungla Pass, the highest pass of the world at a height of 18,380 ft or 5,359 mtrs above from the sea level.
So, we reached at Hundur or Deskit village as per availability of hotel/camp in Nubra valley. After check in to camp or hotel, refresh and have lunch. After that, explore Diskit and Hunder village along with camel ride in this Sand Dunes between these two villages of Nubra valley. In the evening return back to your camp, enjoy evening tea/coffee and have dinner and then overnight at camp in Nubra valley, Ladakh.
Day 04: Nubra Valley – Diskit Monastery – Leh
Get up and be ready to go back to Leh, before moving ahead visit Deskit Monastery and then drive back to Leh.
Upon reaching overnight stay at hotel in Leh.
Day 05: Leh – Pangong Lake (160 Km 05 Hours Drive
After morning meal, we leave for Pangong Lake through Changla pass at 5,486 Mtrs. Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m).
Upon arrival capture the beauty of this lake in your camera and spend night at camp.
Day 06: Pangong Lake – Tsomoriri Via Chusul Mirak
After breakfast leave from Pangong Lake and move towards Tsomoriri Lake via Chusul and Mirak Village. The Tso Moriri Lake is breeding grounds for numerous species of birds. Overnight in Deluxe Campat Karzok,
The distance between Pangong Lake to Tso Moriri is around 220 via Chushul. The shortest route is to reach Chushul from Spangmik via Man and Merak. Then, to continue towards Karzok via Tsaga, Loma, Nyoma, Mahe and Sumdo.
After this tiring journey and visiting Tso Moriri, overnight stay at Karzok.
Day 07: Korzok – Leh Via Mahe Bridge (Altitude 5350 Mtrs)
After morning breakfast, check out and move from Tso Moriri Lake and drive back Leh via Mahi Bridge.
En-route visiting Thiksey Monasteries, evening arrive at Leh, check in to hotel, then dinner & overnight stay.
Day 08: Depart – Leh Airport
Have breakfast in the morning and get transfer to Leh Airport to catch your flight for onward destination.
