Heaven of Ladakh with Kashmir tour package will give an opportunity to explore Ladakh and beautiful city Srinagar in Jammu & Kashmir. Next 7 nights and 8 days, you will make history for yourself by exploring world of nature. Where, definitely you will take lifetime memories to your home.
This trip includes Srinagar with local sightseeing, Sonamarg of Kashmir and Kargil, Leh, Nubra valley and Pangong Lake of Ladakh. There will be a different experience, where one side you can see greenery and another side completely cold desert with greenery.
Day 01: Arrive at Srinagar International Airport & Transfer 14 Km Main City Centre Altitude 1730 Mtrs.
Arrival at Srinagar Airport our representative will meet & greet you and transfer to Houseboat or Hotel in Srinagar. Later refresh and post lunch, let’s start local sightseeing of Srinagar and visit to Mughal Gardens, Heritage Places, Chashme Shahi, Pari Mahal, Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh.
Evening Shikara Ride over the Dal Lake (Shikara means – Small Cruise Boat) to visit Floating Gardens, Lotus Gardens inside the Dal Lake.
Later return and have dinner and overnight stay at Deluxe or Luxury Houseboat / Hotel.
Day 02: Srinagar – Sonamarg – Kargil (205 Km – 7 to 8 Hours Drive) Altitude 2740 Mtrs.
Now, the day 2 is very important for you as you have to ready and acclimatize your body for a high altitude of 3500 meters for Leh.
You must take 2 days of acclimatization at this height before going to higher altitude.
So, we will start the journey first to Kargil.
After having early breakfast, check out from Srinagar hotel and drive to Kargil. En route don’t forget to visit Meadows of Gold as Sonamarg in Sindh valley.
Sonamarg is the beginning of the enchanted journey into a natural wonderland surrounded by pine forest. It is also known as Gateway of Leh – Ladakh.
Here you are free for few time for your own activities like pony ride to visit Thajiwas Glacier, the major attraction in Sonamarg, where you can enjoy snow.
And now we will continue drive towards Kargil through Zojila Pass at 3527 meters height. Once you reach Drass, we will take small halt here for checking passport, ID etc. also have cup of tea/coffee.
Then continue drive of two and half hours towards Kargil.
In the evening reached at Kargil and check in to hotel for night stay.
Day 03: Kargil – Lamayuru – Leh (265 Km / 8 to 9 Hours Drive) Altitude 3505 Mtrs
Let’s have breakfast and then move to Leh, on the way visit some very interesting site as Lamayuru monastery – the oldest religious centre of Ladakh. Then visit Indus & Zanskar river Sangam, Magnetic Hill, Patthar Sahib Gurdwara and Hall of Fame Army museum.
In the evening reached at Leh and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04: Leh – Khardungla Pass – Nubra Valley (Hundur Sand Dunes) Driving Distance 120 Km By 4/5 Hours
After morning meal, leave from Leh and drive to Nubra valley en route visit Khardungla Top (Recorded as world highest motorable road).
After reaching at Nubra valley, you are free for your own activities as for camel riding, monastery visit or exploring Diskit, Hundur village and Sand Dunes etc.
Return back to your camp for night halt at Nubra valley.
Day 05: Nubra Valley – Diskit Monastery – Leh
After breakfast before leaving Nubra valley visit Deskit Monastery and later drive back to Leh.
Upon arrival, overnight stay at Leh hotel.
Day 06: Pangong Lake – Leh (155 Km / 05 Hours Drive)
After breakfast we will start to Pangong Lake through on the way Changla pass at 5486 Mtrs.
Upon arrival take a beautiful view of this superb lake along with Mountain View. Overnight stay at camps in Pangong Lake.
Day 07: Pangong Lake – Return to Leh
After morning breakfast, leave from Pangong Lake and return back to Leh.
Upon arrival and refresh go for nature walk around Leh Main Bazaar and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 08: Departure Leh Airport
Have breakfast and leave from Leh to go back to home or onward destination. Transfer to Leh Airport, board the flight and Bye-Bye.
