Manali is gate of Lahaul Spiti and Ladakh, here we designed Enchanting Ladakh with Manali & Kashmir for 10 nights and 11 days. A wonderful trip, full of fun and adventure, with covering destinations as Manali, Jispa/Sarchu, Leh, Nubra valley, Pangong Lake, Kargil, Sonamarg and Srinagar.
This trip covers three beautiful hill states of India, which are most popular for their snow-clad Himalayas views. These three states are Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh and Jammu & Kashmir, where you will start this trip from Manali, Himachal Pradesh. Under this trip you will explore most popular places of Ladakh and Kashmir.
And finally, after the whole trip, it will end at Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir. So, let’s start it from Manali….
Day 01: Arrive Manali
Morning arrive at Manali town, get transfer to hotel.
After refresh and some rest, go for outing in Manali and explore famous temples and nature parks along with Tibetan monastery.
You can also shop at mall road, then return to hotel night halt.
Day 02: Manali – Rohtang Pass (3,990 Mtrs) – Baralacha Pass (4,860 Mtrs) – Jispa / Sarchu (4,260 Meters) Boarder Area HP & Ladakh (270 Km)
Leave for Jispa/Sarchu by early morning, on the way breakfast at Marhi, little stop at Rohtang and continue drive to Jispa or Sarchu.
Upon arrival at Sarchu, you will spend night here in camp.
Day 03: Jispa / Sarchu – Tanglang-La Pass – Leh – 220 Km
After breakfast, leave camp and drive to Leh over Tanglang-La (5350 Mts.) the second highest road in the world and Lachlan-la (5065 Mts.).
After this, whole day journey, reached at Leh and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04: Leh –Khardungla Pass – Nubra Valley & Hundur Sand Dunes (120 Km/4 Hours Journey)
After the morning meal, let’s begin the drive towards Nubra valley through a mesmerizing view of Khardungla Pass.
Upon reaching visit this popular attraction of Ladakh region, enjoy natural beauty of the area along with camel ride and overnight at camp.
Day 05: Nubra Valley – Diskit Monastery – Leh
After breakfast, go to Diskit monastery and visit this 515 years old monastery with high statue of Maitreya Buddha.
Later, move back to Leh and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 06: Leh – Pangong Lake
After morning breakfast let’s start this wonderful day by visiting Pangong Lake. Let’s drive through Changla Pass Wari-La & Shayok route. Upon reaching you are completely free to feel this amazing beauty of the lake and Mountain View.
Tonight you will stay here in the camp.
Day 07: Return To Leh From Pangong Lake (150 Km / 5 Hours Drive)
Leave Pangong after breakfast and return to Leh, on the way back visit to Thiksey Monastery complex.
Later, continue drive back and upon arrival visit Leh Market. Later return to hotel night stay.
Day 08: Leh – Kargil (Altitude 2817 Meters /172 Km / 6 to 7 Hours Drive)
After breakfast leave from Leh and drive towards Kargil en route halt and visit to Hall of Fame, Patthar Sahib Gurdwara, Magnetic Hill, Zanskar & Indus River Sangam and Lamayuru Gompa.
Post lunch on the way continue drive and evening reached at Kargil. Check in to hotel in Kargil for night halt.
Day 09: Kargil – Sonamarg – Srinagar (204 Km / 8 to 10 Hours Drive)
Early in the morning after breakfast leave for Srinagar via Drass (Altitude 3230 Meters) through Zoji La pass. Then continue drive, now stop at Sonamarg (Meadows of Gold) in Sindh valley. Sonamarg is the beginning of the enchanted journey into a natural wonderland, surrounded by pine forest mountains up to 5300 meters high the valley is divided by a spur of the “Thajiwas Range Mountains” one can have a pony ride to visit Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year the major attraction at Sonamarg in summer months.
Late arrive at Srinagar, dinner and overnight stay at houseboat/hotel in Srinagar.
Day 10: Tour of Mughal Gardens (Srinagar)
Now the terms to visit Srinagar and start from Mughal Gardens and visit to Heritage Places, Chashme Shahi, Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh.
Later enjoy Shikara ride at Dal Lake and also explore local markets of Srinagar, later return to houseboat/hotel for overnight stay.
Day 11: Departure From Srinagar International Airport
After breakfast, transfer to airport to connect the flight for onward journey to home.
