Day 01: Delhi – Shimla (365 Km / Journey Approx 8/9 Hours)
Morning arrive at Delhi, pick up from Delhi Airport/Railway station.
Let’s start honeymoon in hill station of Himachal Pradesh by straight drive to romantic tourist destination as Shimla.
Evening arrival at Shimla, check in to hotel.
Later free for independent activities and overnight stay at Shimla hotel.
Day 02: Honeymoon in Kufri / (Optional) Narkanda / Naldehra
After breakfast proceed for honeymoon in Kufri and explore Sankat Mochan Temple, Kali Bari Temple, Jakhu Hills/Temple.
Then move to Indira Gandhi Tourist Bungalow at Kufri, enjoy horse ride at Kufri forest area.
Evening return back to Shimla and visit to Scandal Point, Vice Regal Lodge and Christ Church.
Later enjoy shopping at The Mall & The Ridge and overnight stay at Shimla hotel.
Day 03: Shimla – Kullu – Manali (Journey Approx 8 to 9 hours / 265 Km)
After delicious breakfast at hotel, check out from Shimla and move Manali, which is paradise for honeymooners.
On the way covering, most romantic points as Sunder Nagar & Pandoh Dam. Then continue drive and also watch Hanogi Mata Temple.
Take a short break in Kullu for evening tea, visit here Kullu handicraft Industry, where you can see how local peoples weaving pure woolen handicraft items.
Also get experience of River Rafting at Kullu, if interested.
Evening arrive at Manali & check in to hotel/resort later overnight stay at Manali.
Day 04: Outing in Local Manali
After leisurely breakfast, rest of the day at leisure or you are free for your own activities. Some options are outing in local Manali or local visit, which include temples, monastery and nature parks.
You can also spend some time on the shore of River Beas near Mall Road.
Mall Road, at the heart of town is a best option for shopping and watching daily routine of local peoples of Manali.
Later return to your resort or hotel for candle light dinner. After having dinner, go to sleep in your honeymoon room with flower bed decoration.
Day 05: Honeymoon At Rohtang Pass (51 Km / 3 to 4 hours journey) Up to snow line in winter
Early morning, proceed for a an amazing experience of your honeymoon at Rohtang Pass en route visiting Nehru Kund, Kothi, Gulaba Fall, Rahalla Fall, Marhi, Rani Nalaha and Rohtang Pass (Up to snow line in case Rohtang is closed due to snowfall).
Later return back to Manali, on the return drive visit Solang Valley – Popular for winter ice sports, adventure activities / rock climbing and Rope way ride etc.
Continue drive back to Manali, once you reached back at Manali, night stay at hotel/resort.
Day 06: Manali – En Route Palampur – Dharamshala (245 Km / 8 to 9 hours)
Completing half of your honeymoon trip of Himachal hill station, now you will get another experience in “Mini Lhasa of India” in Dharamshala city.
Let’s drive en route capturing some best photo suite between the tea garden of Palampur in Kangra district.
Evening reached at Dharamshala, check in to hotel.
After refresh spend your own time and overnight stay at Dharamshala hotel.
Day 07: Dharamshala Local Attractions – Dalhousie (155 Km / 5 to 6 Hours)
After breakfast leave from hotel and proceed for half day for local attractions in the city.
Visit to Naddi Village, Dal Lake (Holy Lake), St. John Church, Bhagsu Nag Temple, Bhagsu Water Fall, Tibetan Monastery, “His Holiness The Dalai Lama Temple” and Mcleod Ganj – The Mall.
Post lunch move to Dalhousie with the panoramic view of Dhauladhar Mountain Range.
Evening arrive at Dalhousie, check in to hotel and overnight stay at Dalhousie hotel/resort.
Day 08: Dalhousie & Khajjiar Visit
Finally you have a wonderful day to spend some quality time in Khajjiar. Drive and en route covering St. Francis Church, Bakrota Hills, Subhash Bowly, Panjpulla / Panchpula and Dainkund.
Arrive at Khajjiar visit to Khajji Lake – Khajjiar is also known as mini Switzerland of India. It is the most exotic and scenic beauty place around 24 Km from Dalhousie. At an altitude of 6450 ft, this saucer shaped green meadow, ringed by Deodar Trees has a lake in the middle complete with floating island.
Evening return drive to Dalhousie and after refresh free for shopping in Dalhousie town at The Mall (Gandhi Chowk) and overnight stay at Dalhousie hotel.
Day 09: Dalhousie – Wagah Border – Amritsar (210 + 34 Km / 5 to 6 Hours)
After breakfast check out from Dalhousie hotel and drive to colorful city Amritsar.
Upon reaching at Amritsar, have lunch and drive to Wagah international border between India and Pakistan, located at a distance of 34 km from Amritsar. Watch the flag closing ceremony at Indo – Pak border.
Evening arrive at Amritsar & check in to hotel.
After refresh and a cup of tea, start visit to Golden Temple, this is the most sacred pilgrimage spot for Sikhs. Sri Harmandir Sahib Ji, also Sri Darbar Sahib and informally referred to as the “Golden Temple”, is the holiest Gurdwara of Sikhism, located in the city of Amritsar, Punjab, India. The dome of the Gurdwara is gilded with gold, popularizing it by the name of “The Golden Temple”.
Later free for your own activities and overnight at Amritsar hotel.
Day 10: Amritsar – Delhi Depart (450 Km / 9 Hours)
After breakfast check out from Amritsar hotel and proceed for visit to Jallianwala Bagh.
Later straight drive to Delhi, evening arrive at Delhi and drop off to Delhi Airport/Railway station for further journey back to home or onwards destination.
