About Rohtang Pass:
Rohtang Pass is a high mountain pass at approx elevation of 3,980 meters or (13,058 ft)) on the eastern Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas. It is 51 Km from Manali town and it connects the Kullu valley with the Lahaul and Spiti valley of Himachal Pradesh, India.
Best Time To Visit Rohtang Pass
Rohtang Pass is open between June and October as during the remaining months, it is covered with a snow, making it inaccessible.
Tourists can enjoy here various adventure activities such as paragliding, sledge ride, mountain biking, snow scooter, ski ride, tyre drop and skiing.
Rohtang pass is very popular among the tourist because of its natural beauty and lovely views of mountain peaks and many flowing waterfalls.

About Permit for Rohtang Visit
Himachal Pradesh state government has started to issuing online permit to limited vehicles to prevent pollution in the Rohtang pass area.
These permits are issued only for 1200 vehicles for daily basis quota, in which first 800 permits for petrol vehicle and 400 permits for diesel vehicles.
Permits can only be applied for next 6 days from the current date. Also, no vehicles can visit Rohtang Pass on Tuesday as that day is marked for maintenance of Rohtang Road.
Permit Duration & Documents Required For Rohtang Visit
This tourism permit is valid only for one day (same day to & fro). Below documents will require for permit:
Valid ID proof
Valid pollution under check (PUC) certificate
Vehicle registration certificate
The age of vehicle not to be more than 10 years.
Day 01: Delhi – Shimla
Upon your arrival at New Delhi Railway station or Airport, get assistance for transfer to Shimla by our tour executive.
Get here your taxi and start travel to Shimla by 8/9 hours journey for 365 Km.
Once you reach at Shimla, check in to your pre-confirmed hotel for night stay.
Day 02: Shimla – Kufri Trip
After breakfast, leave hotel and proceed for full day sightseeing in and around Shimla and visit to several prominent attractions like Sankat Mochan Temple, Kali Bari Temple, Jakhu Hills / Temple, visit Indira Gandhi Tourist Bungalow, Kufri Zoo (Nature Park) also enjoy horse ride at Kufri.
Later return back to Shimla and visit to Scandal Point, Vice Regal Lodge and Christ Church.
Evening free to stroll in the famous shopping place of Shimla city at The Mall & The Ridge and overnight stay at Shimla hotel.
Day 03: Shimla To Kullu Manali
After morning meal leave from Shimla and start drive to Manali en route you can visit to Sunder Nagar Dam, Pandoh (Photo shoot point) and Kullu.
Evening reached at Manali hotel and overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Explore Manali Town
After delicious and healthy breakfast, go to Manali town and explore local Manali and visit some popular temples like Hadimba temple, Manu temple, Vashisht temple along with hot springs and Buddhist monastery at Mall Road.
Also visit Club House for kids activities and Van Vihar – A beautiful nature park and manmade lake inside the park. Kids and family can enjoy here paddle boat ride.
Evening explore Mall road and night halt at Manali hotel.
Day 05: Manali – Rohtang Pass / Keylong / Zispa (120+30 Km) Travel time 6/7 hours (Approx)
Under your Rohtang Pass tour package today you will get transfer to Keylong or Zispa in the Lahaul valley of Himachal Pradesh.
En route you will cover several scenic tourist spots and view points as Solang Valley, Shishu Village, Suraj Tal and Tandi Village.
In the evening reached at Keylong in Lahaul valley. Have dinner and overnight at Keylong or Zispa hotel.
Day 06: Keylong / Zispa – Rohtang Pass – Manali (120+30 Km)
After early breakfast check out from Keylong / Zispa hotel / guest house and drive back to Manali.
Tourism Activities At Rohtang Pass:
Upon arrival at Rohtang pass spend some quality time with nature at Rohtang Pass (Zero Point – at a high altitude of 3979 Meters above from sea level).
After that continue drive to Manali en route lunch at Marhi (It is also a popular point for paragliding).

Later again drive to Manali with the mesmerizing view of many waterfalls (You can also take a bath here) and snow capped mountains.

Day 08: Chandigarh City Tour – Delhi Departure

And post lunch drive back to Delhi by 250 km journey in 5 hours. Evening arrive at Delhi and transfer to Delhi Airport/Railway station for your next journey to home.
